Welcome home, Dad!

Leon's father has tonight taken a huge step. One we can't even begin to imagine. He got on a plane in Johannesburg and is on his way to the UK to start a new life.

We admire his courage. If we think back of the time we came over... We were young with no responsibilities or possessions in South Africa - apart from a few bottles of commemorative wine from our university days ;-) It must be quite a different story if you've lived most of your 58 years in the same country and it's all you know.

Leon's mum and sister will join Dad Bill here in the UK in June and we are really looking forward to having family in the UK - and not just for a visit.
