Now why am I not surprised?

As you all probably know, we've had no heating for the last month as our boiler (geyser for the South Africans) broke. In all that time, we braved temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius dipping into the the minusses quite frequently. Our boiler was repaired yesterday, and lo and behold, the forecast for the next week is a very mild 12-14 degrees. But that's the way it goes, isn't it?
