Keukenhof

On Wednesday we surprised my parents with a trip to Keukenhof in the Netherlands. We flew from Gatwick airport at 06:15 to Amsterdam where we caught a bus to Keukenhof. It made for a very early start! We flew back the same night.

At first we were a bit disappointed at Keukenhof because we were a few weeks too late and most of the tulips have finished flowering. It was still a very beautiful park with orchid and lily exhibitions. Afterwards we went back to Amsterdam and wandered around there for a few hours. We're all of the same mind: we don't really like it much - it feels quite dirty.
