First Step

We've taken the first step in the process of applying for British citizenship! Leon faxed a letter to the British Nationality Enquiry Team, asking for a "Letter of Non-Acquisition". We need them to confirm that we are not currently British citizens, because the South African High Commission require this before they will grant us permission to hold dual citizenship. It's a bit of a long-winded approach, but that's what the South African government wants. As soon as we have this permission, we will make our appointment to write the Britishness Test.
