The Lion King

We went to see the Lion King in the West End last night. It is such a spectacular show! The opening sequence gave me goose bumps and even left me with a tear in the eye. It made me very homesick. The set and costumes are fantastic and it is the most talented cast I've ever seen in a musical. I highly recommend it.

Royalty Spotting

Leon and I saw Charles and Camilla yesterday. Now depending if you are a royalist or not, you might not think it very exciting. But I did! We went to London to see our friends, Pete and Lisa Stay who are visiting from Australia. As one does, we strolled past Buckingham Palace just as a helicopter landed behind the walls. The next minute the convoy drove out the gates, right past us. We definitely saw Camilla and a dubious Charles, but some-one on the other side of the street later confirmed that the very short, slightly bald man sitting next to her was indeed him.

I found this interesting article on the BBC website. It touches on ethical dilemmas and at the same time points out the inconsistency in our own thinking. It made me think about my thinking. What If?
