Sweden for the day

I went to Stockholm on Thursday for business. It meant I had to get up at 04:00 to go to the airport and I got home at around 21:30 that evening. But it was an exciting outing!

Stockolm is just a big city, but it has an old town which was very small and quite pretty. We spent a couple of hours there before our meeting.

I would've gone to Warsaw in Poland on Friday, but couldn't as I did not have the correct visa. Luckily this will all be sorted after May when we apply for our British passports.

Uncle Frank comes to town

My uncle Frank in the States has started a new job with a British company that has an office over the pond in Texas. Part of his new responsibilities means he spends quite a bit of time travelling, and on this occasion we managed to hook up in London for a nice meal and some good old fashioned catch-up. Was great to see him again after 12 or so years!
