Yep, Leon has pneumonia. Quite strange for some-one who never even suffers from a cold! Where and how we have no idea. We spent the whole day at the hospital on Monday. He had to have x-rays taken and get intravenous antibiotics. They almost kept him for the night. The doctor has booked him off for another 2 weeks, but he will probably go back to work on Monday and start working from home tomorrow.

General Hospital

I have a patient at home. Leon has been off work this whole week with a serious chest infection. He's still feeling under the weather and he needs to go back to the doctor for a check-up and some tests on Monday. He suffers from some self-pity as well and can be a tad demanding. He always said he's not a typical man when he's ill, BUT I BEG TO DIFFER! In the meantime I've been teaching him some strategic moves to improve his Canasta. I'm still beating him by a mile, but he's quickly catching on.

Today I had one of THOSE interviews. The interview where you feel you've never done anything, don't know anything and never will. Where words just seem to dissapear right out of your brain as if they never existed. I don't have high hopes at all. I haven't had one of those for a long time. Funnily enough, the last one I had, I got offered the job! But as I said, I have no expectations for this one - I'm not even expecting a call. O well...
