Visiting Mommy's work

Today we went to see mommy's colleagues. It's almost time for her to return to work. She definitely doesn't want to go back full time and has started the negotiating process of working 3 days a week. This means I will have to stay in a lovely nursery she found me in Woking.

I loved playing with everyone and as always charmed the socks off them.

They also consulted me on interesting things to do with their green dog. They seemed very impressed with my ideas.

It was a tiring morning and I fell asleep as soon as my bum hit the car seat. Can't wait to go again...

My third haircut

Liam had his third haircut yesterday. Quite a thing if you think some of his friends are almost 2 and have never had one!

This is by far the shortest it's been cut and Mommy loves it.

Nap time

Since we've been in South Africa we've been putting Liam to bed with a bottle. At first it worked wonders as he would be asleep by the time the bottle is finished. But in the last month or so, he has been too active during this time and we have had to go into the room at least 5 times to put his bottle back in his mouth and correct the support which consists of 2 cloth nappies.

Very rarely, we don't realist the bottle is out again and he has fallen asleep by himself. This is what I found when I put him down for his morning nap earlier and went in to check on him later...

A visit from Morné

On Saturday one of my university friends whom I've not seen in almost 10 years came to visit us. It was lovely to see him again and we could chat as if no time has passed at all. We spent a leisurely morning at home, introducing him to the evil that is a Wii (Leon's Christmas present). We then had lunch (and a spot of shopping for his own Wii as he was hooked) in Windsor before dropping him off at the airport.
